The spirit of “Twende Pamoja”<\/strong><\/em> – moving forward together – came alive on Friday, 10th July 2026, as customers, business partners, employees, and regional leaders gathered at the Dome, Masaki, Dar es Salaam, to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Al Mansour Auto Tanzania<\/strong>, Isuzu East Africa’s exclusive distributor in Tanzania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held under the theme “Driving Five Years of Excellence Together \u2013 Twende Pamoja,”<\/strong><\/em> the evening celebrated a remarkable journey built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to supporting Tanzania’s economic growth through dependable mobility solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his welcome remarks, Jagat Randhawa,<\/strong> Business Head for Sub-Saharan Africa at Mansour Group, described Tanzania as one of the Group’s most important growth markets in Africa. He spoke of Mansour’s confidence in the country’s long-term potential through continued investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering the keynote address as the chief guest, Rita Kavashe<\/strong>, Chair of the Board and Managing Director of Isuzu East Africa, reflected on the strong partnership established since Al Mansour Auto Tanzania joined the Isuzu network in 2020. She noted that the dealership’s expansion from its flagship 3S facility in Dar es Salaam to a growing network of Authorized Service Outlets reflects the confidence of Tanzanian entrepreneurs and businesses operating across construction, mining, agriculture, logistics, manufacturing, and many other sectors that drive the country’s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rita reaffirmed Isuzu East Africa’s commitment to creating lifetime customer value through dependable products, exceptional aftersales support, and customer-centric transport solutions. She also highlighted the company’s ongoing investments in regional aftersales capability, including the KSh 3.1 billion Parts Distribution Centre in Kenya, which will enhance parts availability and strengthen customer support across East Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation also featured prominently during the celebration with the unveiling of the 2026 Isuzu D-Max pickup<\/strong>, presented by Shiku Vamba<\/strong>, Marketing Communication Specialist, Isuzu Motors South Africa. The upgraded model showcased Isuzu’s continued focus on durability, advanced technology, driver comfort, and long-term ownership value, including a new five-year\/120,000-kilometre warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening also celebrated the customers and partners whose confidence has contributed to Al Mansour’s success over the past five years. Anurup Chatterjee<\/strong>, Country General Manager, Al Mansour Tanzania, led the handover of a new Isuzu freezer truck to Bakresa Ice Cream. In addition, distinguished customers and strategic partners, including TANESCO, Coca-Cola Tanzania, and TotalEnergies, were recognized for their enduring partnership with the Isuzu brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond commercial success, Al Mansour Auto Tanzania was also acknowledged for its contribution to national development. The dealer was recently recognized among Tanzania’s top taxpayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his Vote of Thanks, Anurup Chatterjee<\/strong> described the anniversary as a celebration of teamwork and shared achievement. He expressed appreciation to customers, employees, financial institutions, suppliers, and leasing partners whose collaboration continues to drive the company’s success. He paid special tribute to the Al Mansour team for their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, noting that every successful customer experience is made possible by the dedication of employees working behind the scenes every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
