The cool Sunday morning in Nairobi came alive with energy and purpose as thousands gathered for the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon 2025, held under the inspiring theme Run for a Reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the runners stood the Isuzu Winning Team, proudly led by our Finance and Strategy Director, Charles Kariuki. With 144 participants out of 150 registered, marking an impressive 96% turnout our team embodied the Isuzu spirit of excellence, resilience, and togetherness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than a race, the marathon was a celebration of wellness, camaraderie and shared purpose. Every stride captured the determination and unity that define who we are, people driven to make a difference, both on the track and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many Isuzu team members participated and successfully completed the races, showcasing remarkable endurance and team spirit. Among those who stood out were Victor Maina, who led the 42KM race, joined by Zachary Kagiri, Everlyn Guda, Stephen Kibe and George Maundu. In the 21KM category, Titus Kimeu led the pack alongside Komen Kimutai, Joseph Kanyi, Jones Mwakisakenyi, David Mwangi Murimi, Paul Wanjohi and Edward Kinyanjui. The 10KM race featured Frank Mutua and Sharon Jebet who impressively ranked 43rd among women overall, together with Damaris Nyabuto. The 5KM family run brought together employees and their loved ones, celebrating unity, wellness, and community spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the marathon went beyond fitness, it strengthened relationships, teamwork and connection. The event offered an opportunity to engage with key partners, reinforcing Isuzu\u2019s commitment to building relationships that drive shared growth and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through such initiatives, we continue nurturing a culture of holistic wellness and employee engagement, where everyone feels part of a greater mission, Driving a Better Tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
